Fifty years after the earthquake that destroyed Gemona, Al di là di ieri (Beyond Yesterday) returns to the town to ask what remains of the solidarity that once held the community together.

Through three generations, personal video diaries, archive materials and direct work in the territory, the film explores memory as something active: a way to understand how a community lives today, what it has preserved, and what it may have lost.
