Gemona del Friuli was struck by a massive earthquake back in 1976. The catastrophic event destroyed almost completely the town and its ancient buildings. About 1000 people died including the neighbouring villages.
Although facts are now known, forty years after, this experimental docu-drama tries to depict the spirit and the reaction of the people which live at the feet of the magnificent Alps.

This project fits in a frame where the two artists Blanxer and Repo were invited to paint a wall on the theme of “rebirth” right in the historical center of Gemona.
